Bilingual English Spanish Phlebotomist

About the Role

Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual English Spanish Phlebotomist to join their team in Washington, DC.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:30pm; Saturdays as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Bilingual English Spanish
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation; travel to additional sites as needed

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements

Additional Information

• This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Subject to applicable law, prospective hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or qualify for medical or religious accommodations.
• PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
• Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
