Finance Intern

About the Role

Zypp Electric is India’s leading tech-enabled EV rental platform. This is a full-time, on-site Finance Intern role based in Gurugram. The Finance Intern will support day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with bookkeeping tasks.
• Reviewing invoices.
• Helping maintain accurate financial records.
• Supporting the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Helping with reconciliations and basic accounting entries.
• Collaborating with the finance team to gather data, perform analytical reviews, and prepare reports.
• Performing cross-functional communication with other teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and understanding of Financial Statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Basic knowledge of Accounting principles and comfort with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in sustainable mobility, electric vehicles, or technology-driven logistics is a plus.
