About the Role
Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. This BAW Research & Development Internship is offered within the Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform topology analysis to improve target design
- Realization of the filter layout with BAW technology
- Implementation of the laminate and full module simulation
- Extraction of topologies for each filter and multiplexer networks from competitor parts
- Competitor performance fit from measurements to extract filter parameters
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- Completed some coursework in RF/Microwave circuit design
- Experience with electromagnetic/RF simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, AWR, etc.)
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
- Familiar with RF measurement and its equipment: spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
Qualifications
- Experience with filter design, impedance matching, or RF packaging is desired.
