About the Role

Serve as a technology architect specializing in advanced enterprise networking solutions, designing integrated architectures using Nexus, Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki SDWAN, and Versa SDWAN for hybrid work environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable secure, scalable digital connectivity that supports business growth, operational resilience, and sustainable digital enablement. Works standard day shifts without travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end network architectures that integrate Nexus core switching, Cisco ACI data center fabrics, Cisco Meraki SDWAN, and Versa SDWAN to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable connectivity across hybrid environments.
• Lead the translation of business and application requirements into detailed technical network designs that optimize performance, availability, and security, while aligning with organizational standards and compliance policies.
• Oversee configuration and optimization of Nexus platforms to ensure efficient traffic flows, high throughput, and fault-tolerant designs that support mission-critical workloads and digital services.
• Drive the implementation and lifecycle management of Cisco ACI fabrics, including policy models, tenant segmentation, and application profiles, to maintain consistent, secure, and automated data center operations.
• Guide the deployment and fine-tuning of Cisco Meraki SDWAN solutions, focusing on cloud-based management, centralized policy control, and rich analytics to improve visibility, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Administer and enhance Versa SDWAN platforms by defining routing and security policies, application-aware traffic steering, and high availability designs that support diverse branch and remote connectivity scenarios.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to embed robust security controls into network architectures, including micro-segmentation, secure edge connectivity, and encrypted overlays that protect data and services.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network incidents across Nexus, Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki SDWAN, and Versa SDWAN environments to minimize downtime and maintain service reliability.
• Develop technical standards, reference architectures, and reusable design patterns that promote consistency, simplify future deployments, and accelerate digital enablement and delivery across the organization.
• Coordinate with application and cloud teams to validate that network designs support evolving digital initiatives, including modern workplace services, cloud migrations, and data-driven platforms.
• Create clear design documentation, implementation plans, and operational runbooks that enable smooth handover to operations teams and support effective long-term management of network solutions.
• Advise stakeholders on capacity planning, performance tuning, and technology roadmaps for networking components, ensuring future readiness and alignment with enterprise strategy and sustainability goals.
• Partner with vendor and internal teams to evaluate new features and software releases for Nexus, Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki SDWAN, and Versa SDWAN, assessing their impact and planning controlled adoption to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Apply a strong foundation in Nexus switching architectures and data center networking to design stable, high-performing infrastructures suitable for demanding enterprise and digital workloads.
• Utilize deep hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including policy-driven segmentation and automated fabric operations, to create flexible, secure, and manageable data center environments.
• Bring practical proficiency in Cisco Meraki SDWAN configuration, cloud dashboards, and analytics to build intuitive, centrally managed branch and remote connectivity solutions.
• Demonstrate solid working knowledge of Versa SDWAN, including multi-tenant designs, security services, and advanced routing, to deliver reliable and adaptive software-defined networks.
• Leverage experience in digital enablement and delivery to ensure network solutions directly support user-centric services, agile development practices, and modern collaboration tools.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to diagnose complex network issues, interpret metrics, and refine designs for continuous improvement and operational resilience.
• Employ effective communication and documentation skills to explain architectural decisions, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and support knowledge sharing within technical teams.

Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNP Enterprise or DC and vendor-specific SDWAN certifications from Cisco or Versa.
