About the Role
- Government Apprentice / Company Apprentice / Diploma Engineering Trainee at KONE.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in Production, Line assembly, Quality.
- Applying basic knowledge and experience of Manufacturing / Operational process.
- Utilizing health and safety regulations.
- Operating various types of manufacturing machinery and tools (added advantage).
- Demonstrating business understanding about the specific area, including economical evaluations.
- Providing feedback both orally and in writing.
- Applying basic knowledge in operation, production (including lean manufacturing and 5S principles), quality (including Six Sigma), logistics, and supply chain management.
- Utilizing problem-solving skills and strong process discipline.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0-1 years of experience in Production, Line assembly, Quality.
- Basic knowledge and experience of Manufacturing / Operational process.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools (added advantage).
- Business understanding about his specific area (also based on the economical evaluations).
- Ability to provide feedback both orally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge in operation, production (lean manufacturing and 5 S principles), quality (Six sigma), logistics and supply chain management.

Performance Measures
- Safety: IIFR, Lost time due to injury, Timely reporting of safety measures, Safety audits, 5S targets.
- Quality & Environment: Feedbacks from next process phases (EFR, FYCOR), FPY of own production processes, Rework/production scraps reduction, Environmental targets.
- Time: Complete on Time (COT), Schedule adherence, Reaction time for feedback orders.
- Cost: Volume per shift (productivity and efficiency), Optimize direct working hours (reduction of indirect hours with the best use of the resources), Ideas and suggestions in own area (IMS and PDCA).
