About the Role
Oratomic is building the world's first fault-tolerant quantum computer. We are hiring Systems Engineers to help design, build, and operate fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team across hardware (lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics), software, processor design, and other areas required to build a working quantum computer.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration of complex hardware and software systems
- Defining interfaces between subsystems
- Developing specifications
- Coordinating system-level design, assembly, testing, and operation
- Working closely with scientists and engineers across disciplines
- Combining system-level planning with hands-on lab work
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Wants to build a quantum computer
- Works well in a highly collaborative team environment
- A strong technical background
- Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines is desirable
Qualifications
