UI UX designer (UNPAID INTERN)

About the Role

TalesByDora (TBD) is a travel-focused brand dedicated to creating memorable journeys and immersive experiences. As a UI/UX Designer (Unpaid Intern), you will support the design of user-centered interfaces for web and mobile experiences that showcase travel content and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, content, and marketing teams to translate business and user requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and intuitive interaction flows.
• Conduct user research, journey mapping, and create low- and high-fidelity designs.
• Iterate designs based on feedback and usability findings.
• Help maintain a consistent visual language and contribute to design system components.
• Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across platforms.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Foundational knowledge of web and mobile design principles.
• Familiarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong UI design skills, including understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and layout.
• UX-focused skills such as user research, persona development, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Skills in usability testing, gathering feedback, and iterating designs based on data and user insights.
• Attention to accessibility and responsive design.
• Collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts, receive constructive feedback, and work effectively with remote cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing or having completed studies in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience with a strong portfolio.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• An interest in travel and storytelling is considered beneficial.
