Role: Graphic Design Intern
About the Role
Citizens of the Internet is seeking a creative, curious, and internet-savvy Graphic Design Intern to join our Fall 2026 team. This role focuses on playful design exploration, including memes, visual jokes, music, and short-form videos, while developing CTZNS’ creative voice.
Internship Details
- Location: Houston, TX (Remote + select on-site opportunities)
- Term: Fall 2026 (October through December)
- Compensation: Unpaid internship
- Commitment: 7–10 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Creating memes and shareable social graphics
- Designing fun musical videos and visual concepts
- Developing creative ideas for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
- Experimenting with typography, layouts, color, and internet culture
- Collaborating with our media and brand development team
- Contributing to making CTZNS content more entertaining, relatable, and recognizable
Qualifications
- Enjoyment of graphic design and creative experimentation
- Understanding of memes, music, and online culture
- Strong visual eye and a sense of humor
- Openness to trying new ideas and taking creative direction
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow through on assignments
- Interest in building a portfolio through real creative projects
