About the Role
Trainee Engineer - Functional & System Validation
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional and system-level validation test cases for semiconductor products.
- Perform silicon validation, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Validate MCU/SoC peripherals such as GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, Timers, ADC, and Interrupts.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and collaborate with Design, DV, Firmware, and Test teams.
- Support automation of validation activities using scripting.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong fundamentals in Digital Electronics, Microcontrollers, and Embedded Systems.
- Good programming skills in C; exposure to Python is a plus.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Basic understanding of lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers.
- Familiarity with Linux environment and debugging concepts.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in ECE, EEE, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Preferred Skills
- Experience through academic projects or internships in embedded systems or validation.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or automotive systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
