About the Role
Westhafen Consulting is seeking a Financial Analyst for a full-time, remote position within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Rebuild financial models from client spreadsheets.
- Trace figures to their source.
- Test assumptions to evaluate their impact on recommendations.
- Perform cash flow and return calculations.
- Analyze forecast figures derived from signed orders versus targets.
- Compare investment options over the same period and scope, including the "do nothing" scenario.
- Develop sensitivity tables on assumptions that affect financial outcomes.
- Create tables and charts for assessments.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to build Excel models that link several sheets.
- Proficiency in reading an income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Experience with financial analysis through a job, internship, or coursework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.
Also welcome:
- FP&A, banking, or consulting internship experience.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Progress towards CFA designation.
