Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks
- Execute automated regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test suites
- Perform API automation testing and backend validation
- Validate databases using SQL queries
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test failures and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and design reviews
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort
- Create and maintain automation documentation and test reports
- Ensure software quality, stability, and performance before release
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium
- Programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Qualifications
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is an added advantage
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills
