About the Role

HungerBox is a leading food-tech platform that manages and operates food and cafeteria services across corporate campuses and institutions, with a strong focus on food quality, safety, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional information for food production and support approvals for health claims on packaging.
• Conduct food safety audits of Food Business Operators as per FSSAI requirements.
• Verify compliance with the provisions of the FSS Act, rules, and regulations prescribed by FSSAI.
• Forward audit reports to the Food Authority within 2–5 days of conducting the food safety audit.
• Maintain confidentiality of food safety audits.
• Conduct customised audits across catering, base kitchens, and live kitchens.
• Follow up on NC closure for both internal and external audits.
• Ensure corrective actions for identified non-conformities are implemented effectively.
• Analyse identified non-conformities and complaints.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective action implementation.
• Conduct training on food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Nutrition & Technology, Microbiology, or Catering Technology from a recognised university.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an Accredited Lead Auditor Course in Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000/FSSC 22000).
• Sufficient knowledge of the FSS Act and regulations, along with sector-specific knowledge of hygiene, sanitary practices, process knowledge, and allergen management.
• Certified Internal Auditor in ISO 22000/HACCP, with knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
