Graduate Engineering Trainee, Mechanical

About the Role

The Graduate Engineering Trainee - Mechanical will work closely with senior engineers to support mechanical design, analysis, and documentation for projects in the Energy and Process Industries. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, where the trainee will gain hands-on exposure to engineering workflows, quality procedures, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with CAD modelling and drafting.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Support equipment selection.
• Participate in inspection and maintenance planning activities.
• Help prepare technical reports and calculations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and standards.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation practices.
• Basic knowledge of Maintenance and Inspection activities for mechanical systems and equipment, including safety and reliability considerations.
• Exposure to mechanical domains, with practical understanding of components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow structured processes, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and quality in deliverables.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in standard office and engineering software tools.
