About the Role
MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford Surgical Care is seeking a Physician Associate/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their care team. This is a full-time, hybrid position (35 hrs inpatient/5 hrs outpatient).
Key Responsibilities
- Pre and post-operative patient care
- Ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- First-assisting in the operating room
- On-call rotation
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Successful completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
- RNFA certification is required for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner candidates.
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience in General Surgery is desired.
Qualifications
- RNFA Certification (required for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner candidates)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program (successful completion)
- Physician Associate program (successful completion)
- General Surgery experience (desired)
- Maine State License or eligibility
- BLS Certification
Pay Range: $120,819 - $156,354 annually, based on experience.
