Design & Estimation Engineer
Bengaluru
Key Responsibilities
- Design and drafting of High-Pressure Water Mist (HPWM) fire suppression systems and fire protection piping systems.
- Preparation of 2D AutoCAD layouts, piping layouts, isometric drawings, and equipment layouts.
- Preparation of pump room layouts, pump skid drawings, section valve layouts, and installation drawings.
- Preparation of General Arrangement (GA), shop, fabrication, and as-built drawings.
- Coordination of mechanical piping routes with other MEP services.
- Preparation of BOQ/BOM, material take-offs, and technical documentation.
- Incorporation of design revisions and preparation of drawings as per project requirements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD 2D (mandatory)
- MS Excel and MS Office
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is preferred.
- Interest in mechanical design, drafting, and fire suppression systems.
- Willingness to learn and work with the Design & Engineering team.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of fire protection design and hydraulic calculations is an advantage.
