Role: Junior Technician: CSSD

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and participate in the decontamination, inspection, cleaning, assembling, and packaging of medical/surgical material, including instruments and equipment, according to established standards and procedures.
• Prepare and set up designated areas according to prescribed procedures.
• Wrap and/or package items for specified areas according to procedures.
• Disassemble, clean, assemble, and test instrumentation for proper functioning.
• Utilize knowledge of different types of sterilization materials and equipment to choose appropriate materials for sterilization processes.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials, including documenting usage, issuing, receiving, and recording as assigned.
• Conduct daily ward rounds.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor CSSD.
