Job Title: Warehouse Janitor Day Shift
Company: Vistar
Position Details
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (plus overtime as needed)
- Interview: With Maintenance Manager
Position Purpose
To ensure the health and safety of all associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Report all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately.
- Perform cleaning duties including:
- Dusting
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Trash pickup
- Restroom cleanup
- Related janitorial tasks
- Handle all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
- Complete all assigned safety training modules in a timely and accurate manner.
- May require operation of a pallet jack to transport refuse/trash.
- Complete all assignments timely and accurately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Able to work the full shift listed.
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves, and replenish products, weighing between 10-35 pounds throughout the shift.
- Able to work independently.
- Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
- Experience working with cleaning chemicals.
