About the Role
Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Housekeeper to join their Facilities team in Boone, NC.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Clean buildings, offices, and restrooms by sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and caring for floors.
- Clean furniture, carpets, windows, blinds, doors, jambs, refrigerators, sinks, toilets, light fixtures, countertops, and windows.
- Empty sanitary receptacles and remove trash from all buildings.
- Assist with annual spring cleaning of all buildings.
- Restock supplies and refill soap and tissue dispensers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three (3) months related housekeeping experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- General knowledge of basic cleaning and ability to learn the Samaritan's Purse cleaning standards.
- Ability to solve simple problems that may arise during a workday.
- General knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
- General knowledge of housekeeping safety protocols.
