About the Role
The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support engineering and operations activities in a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of gas supply systems and equipment.
- Participate in manufacturing or process improvement projects.
- Collect and analyze technical and operational data.
- Prepare basic engineering documentation.
- Support project planning and execution under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Follow safety and quality standards.
- Learn company processes, products, and industry best practices.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering skills.
- Relevant degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial).
- Analytical Skills for interpreting data, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting process optimization.
- Effective Communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, preparing reports, and interacting with customers or vendors.
- Basic Project Management skills to assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking engineering and installation projects.
- Familiarity with industrial gases or chemical processes (beneficial).
- Knowledge of safety standards (beneficial).
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software (beneficial).
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced industrial environment.
