Deal Execution Analyst/Associate

About the Role

Morgan Stanley Private Markets team is seeking an Analyst/Associate to support Deal Execution for the Private Company Liquidity desk. This role is crucial for driving client and business outcomes within Private Markets and involves collaboration with Go to Market, Technology, Software & Product Development, and Relationship Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate within a two-person deal team to execute client transactions in Private Markets.
• Provide execution and operational support for tender offers and company-sponsored payments.
• Support the lifecycle of liquidity event deal planning, including project planning, designing and facilitating testing plans, platform implementation, and processing transaction settlements.
• Manage the intake of transaction requirements and deliverables, ensuring key milestones are met.
• Provide expertise and support on equity stock plan awards, configurations, and reporting.
• Conduct presentations to demonstrate platform capabilities and product offerings.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align on project deliverables.
• Partner with Product and Software Development teams to enhance platform product offerings.
• Identify opportunities for scale and efficiency through AI & automation projects.
• Proactively identify operational issues and drive business solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree
• Intermediate to advanced project management skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Passion for providing exceptional client outcomes
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity for internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret complex legal and technical documentation
• Strong analytical background, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
