About the Role
The Associate Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client engagements by collecting and analyzing data.
- Map processes and identify business problems and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of solutions across functions such as operations, supply chain, HR, and marketing.
- Collaborate closely with senior consultants and client stakeholders.
- Participate in workshops and meetings.
- Help track project progress and impact.
- Engage in continuous learning.
- Document best practices.
- Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen Debox’s methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data, draw logical conclusions, and structure complex issues clearly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create concise reports, decks, and client-facing documents.
- Stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with comfort working in cross-functional teams and engaging with clients at different levels.
- Basic business and consulting skills such as process mapping, market and industry research, and understanding of core business functions (operations, HR, finance, marketing).
- Proficiency in common productivity and analysis tools:
- Excel or Google Sheets
- PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, commerce, or a related field.
- A postgraduate qualification in management or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic project environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Prior internship or work experience in consulting, analytics, operations, or a related domain is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong motivation to learn and grow in a consulting environment is essential.
