The SDE Intern role at Autom8AI is a full-time, on-site position based in Aligarh. In this role, the intern will assist in designing, implementing, and testing software components that power our automation platform, primarily focusing on back-end services and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing clean, maintainable code.
- Debugging and resolving issues.
- Collaborating with senior engineers on feature development.
- Contributing to code reviews and documentation.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and help translate them into reliable technical solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including building and consuming APIs, working with databases, and understanding server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in designing modular, reusable code.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic development workflows is preferred.
- Interest in AI, automation, and building scalable systems is a plus.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively in a team environment, and communicate clearly about technical concepts.
