Deal Execution Analyst/Associate

About the Role

• Join the Morgan Stanley Private Markets team in South Jordan, Utah.
• Directly support Deal Execution for the Private Company Liquidity desk.
• Drive client and business outcomes within Private Markets.
• Collaborate with Go to Market, Technology, Software & Product Development, and Relationship Managers to enhance client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate within a two-person deal team executing client transactions in Private Markets.
• Provide execution and operational support for tender offers and company-sponsored payments.
• Support the deal planning lifecycle for liquidity events:
• Project planning
• Designing and facilitating testing plans
• Platform implementation
• Processing transaction settlements
• Manage the intake of transaction requirements and deliverables, ensuring key milestones are met.
• Provide expertise and support on equity stock plan awards, configurations, and reporting.
• Conduct presentations of product offerings to demonstrate platform capabilities.
• Communicate with internal & external stakeholders to drive alignment on project deliverables.
• Partner with Product and Software Development teams to enhance platform product offerings.
• Identify opportunities to create scale and efficiency through AI & automation projects.
• Proactively identify operational issues and drive business solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Intermediate to advanced project management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional client outcomes.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and drive clarity for internal & external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of complex legal & technical documentation.
• Strong analytical background, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
