Analyst (Java) Backend Developer

About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Analyst (Java) Backend Developer for a full-time, on-site position in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is designed for fresh graduates and experienced technology professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, APIs, databases, internal platforms, automation solutions, enterprise systems, and digital services.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, multithreading, concurrency, and clean coding practices.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar Java backend frameworks is beneficial.
• Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases is beneficial.
• Understanding of database design, joins, normalization, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, query optimization, and data-access concepts is advantageous.
• Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable applications, or event-driven systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Exposure to JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architecture is an advantage.
• Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of Linux, application deployment, configuration management, environment variables, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, API security, encryption, and authentication concepts is beneficial.
• Exposure to application performance optimization, database tuning, connection pooling, caching, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ORM technologies, persistence layers, transactions, repositories, entity relationships, and backend data-access patterns is beneficial.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Exposure to automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications is an additional advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure Java backend solutions.
• Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
• Internship, academic project, Java project, Spring Boot project, backend project, API project, database project, microservices project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
• Candidates without previous full-time Java backend-development experience can also apply.
• Strong willingness to learn new Java technologies, backend frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.
