About the Role
Novelis in Warren, OH is seeking a Process Engineering Intern for a summer 2027 on-site internship of approximately 12 weeks. The intern will report to the Process Leader and work alongside Process Engineers. The role involves participating in relevant work and gaining hands-on industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a project focused on quality, process improvement, or customer centricity, with support from Process Engineers.
- Support Process Engineers in cross-functional improvement projects.
- Learn about sustainability, quality, and customer satisfaction, and implement this knowledge by sharing with operations.
- Work in multi-functional groups to support engineering, maintenance, reliability, and automations for operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate.
- Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
