About the Role

Join Mercy’s Legal Department as a Legal Operations Analyst where organization, curiosity, technology, and problem-solving come together. This role will help manage claims and litigation matters, turn data into meaningful insights, and identify new ways to make legal operations more efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage claims and litigation matters from opening through closure, ensuring information, documentation, deadlines, and financial activity remain accurate and current.
• Track active matters, follow up on outstanding items, and partner with attorneys and other stakeholders to keep work moving forward.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and analyses that highlight trends, costs, outcomes, and other insights for leadership.
• Support insurance activities, including coverage verification, claim histories, carrier reporting, and audit preparation.
• Help improve processes through standardization, technology, automation, and approved AI tools.
• Develop practical templates, prompts, workflows, and guides that make work more efficient and consistent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and manage changing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, data, reporting tools, and technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
