Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Junior Backend Developers (Python) to join our engineering team. This opportunity is ideal for final-year students, recent graduates, and early-career developers who want hands-on experience building scalable backend services, REST APIs, and AI-powered cybersecurity products. Selected candidates will work closely with our engineering and product teams on real-world features deployed within the Foresee Security platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python.
• Assist in developing new features and integrations for the Foresee Security platform.
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Support background processing, caching, and task automation using Redis and Celery.
• Debug application issues, troubleshoot API errors, and improve backend performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Write reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding best practices.
• Explore automation and AI-driven backend capabilities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of Python programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Basic working knowledge of Django and/or FastAPI.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of Redis and Celery for caching and asynchronous task processing.
• Knowledge of Git and version control.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 0–1 year of experience, including academic projects or internships.
• Candidates with hands-on Python projects, GitHub repositories, or backend development experience will be preferred.

Internship & Full-Time Opportunity

• Internship Duration: 3 Months
• Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000
• Full-Time CTC: ₹4,80,000 per annum
• Successful interns may be offered full-time employment based on technical performance, learning ability, teamwork, and business requirements.
