Graduate Engineer Trainee

About the Role

Marmon GIC is seeking motivated fresh Mechanical Engineers to gain exposure working with various departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Willingness to learn new skills.
• On-time project delivery while upholding technical and quality standards.
• Produce technical deliverables including design data, calculations, drawings, and test reports.
• Coordinate and execute tasks in a global environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering subjects.
• Strong understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, including Engineering Drawing, Mechanics/Strength of Material, Manufacturing Process, and Machine Design.
• Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks, Inventor, NX, Creo is an advantage.
• Exposure to CAE tools like Ansys [Mechanical and Fluent] will be valued.
• Projects involving Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element analysis will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to execute and deliver tasks within agreed time and with quality.
• Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Good business communication (written/verbal).
• Curious nature & Self-starter who can work under minimal guidance/supervision.
• Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally when required.
• Good English communication skill, both written and verbal.
