Full-stack Developer

About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Full-stack Developer at PinAndPaper. The Full-stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that power the learning platform and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement responsive user interfaces.
• Build robust APIs.
• Integrate front-end and back-end services.
• Optimize performance across the stack.
• Collaborate with product, content, and design teams to translate learning workflows into reliable, user-friendly features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Front-end Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), with experience building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including designing APIs and working with server-side frameworks.
• Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive, reliable applications.
• Experience with modern web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and at least one major front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
• Experience with server-side languages or frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), relational or NoSQL databases, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of version control (Git), automated testing, and basic CI/CD practices.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code and document technical decisions for collaborative teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• Familiarity with education technology, developer tools, or embedded systems domains is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
