The Event Manager Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the planning and execution of online and hybrid events for Laneway and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with event concept development.
• Preparing timelines and checklists.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Supporting logistics such as registrations, communications, and virtual event platforms.
• Helping manage event marketing activities, including drafting promotional content, updating social media, and tracking engagement metrics.
• Creating post-event reports.
• Gathering feedback and suggesting improvements to enhance attendee experience and event performance.

Qualifications

• Skills in event planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Skills in digital tools, such as virtual event platforms, collaboration tools, and basic productivity software.
• Skills in content creation for events, including writing event briefs, agendas, and promotional messages.
• Skills in basic marketing and social media activities related to event promotion.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative working style.
• Candidates pursuing or having completed studies in business, marketing, communications, event management, or related fields are preferred.
• Candidates with prior internship or project experience in events, marketing, or startup environments will be considered an added advantage.
