About the Role
The CC Auditor role at DMart involves performing various audits within stores to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform systematic, routine monthly or periodic store audits according to company audit schedules and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in physical stock audits, often starting early in the morning (around 6:00 AM) or during night stock takes to reconcile system inventory with actual floor and warehouse stock.
- Verify day-to-day cash transactions, point-of-sale (POS) collections, daily cash-up statements, vouchers, refunds, and general accounting entries.
- Inspect physical assets, check adherence to company policies, and ensure statutory and regulatory compliances are met at the store level.
- Document audit observations, identify control gaps, discrepancies, or leakages, and submit timely audit reports to senior management.
