About the Role
As a Software Engineer (SDE-1) at Dart Browser, you will contribute to the core browser codebase, developing features to enhance privacy, speed, and security. You will implement features within the browser and its on-device AI agent, write clean and tested code, debug and profile performance on Apple Silicon, and collaborate with senior engineers on cryptography and networking libraries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build features for the core Dart Browser codebase.

- Own real parts of the product from early on.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
- Working knowledge of at least one of C++, Swift, Rust, or a similar systems language.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear communication and ownership of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or 0–2 years of experience, based in India.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with browser internals, networking, or systems programming on macOS is a plus.
- Interest in security, cryptography, and privacy-preserving technologies; prior experience is beneficial.

- Fully remote, permanently. Work from anywhere in India.
