About the Role

The Software Developer Intern will collaborate and assist Developers in resolving a wide range of technical software issues on RF-SMART's product. The program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to become successful professionals while completing meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in technical software issue resolution.
• Shadow and assist in troubleshooting.
• Aid customers via telephone, email, and/or remote session.
• Collaborate on a group innovation project that spans the full 12 weeks.
• Participate in volunteer events, National Intern Day, and company-wide activities.

Grow and Connect

• Collaborate directly with experienced Agile delivery professionals and receive regular coaching and feedback.
• Discover natural talents through a CliftonStrengths assessment.
• Develop presentation skills, communication, and professional presence through workshops and intentional projects.
• Hear directly from RF-SMART leaders in the Meet the Leader series.
• Build network at intern alumni panel and networking mixer.
• Access LinkedIn Learning throughout the summer.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A solid foundation in Javascript.
• Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a team-first attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when testing and debugging.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship.
• Considered a junior or senior by credit hours.
• Available to work 40 hours per week in-office.
• Eligible to work in the United States for any employer without future sponsorship.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development is a plus.

Program Details

• Duration: May 10, 2027 - July 30, 2027 (12 weeks)
• Hours: 40 hours per week in Summer
• Pay: $25/hour
• Open to: Undergraduate students, graduate students, and May/Spring graduates.
