Key Responsibilities
- Take charge as Technical and Administrative head of the Lab.
- Look after the various technical aspects of the laboratory.
- Ensure timely calibration of the various instruments installed.
- Run controls to ensure accurate results of samples tested.
- Perform daily maintenance of machines, contacting engineers on an as-needed basis.
- Strictly monitor Quality Control of all tests conducted.
- Ensure accurate testing, validation, and timely release of reports.
- Implement efficient inventory control.
- Provide guidance to Technicians and other Lab staff members.
- Keep the cost of operation of the lab under budgeted limits.
- Prepare the lab for QA audits or any applicable audits.
- Attend and present CMEs.
