Spring 2027 Management Development Program

About the Role

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is offering an intensive Management Development Program (MDP) designed for recent graduates to gain work experience across a resort. Participants will develop and demonstrate leadership, management, and hospitality skills through immersion in resort operations. This is a Non-Exempt Management position.

Program Overview

• A 12-month program with rotations through multiple departments to provide a comprehensive understanding of resort operations.
• Potential departments include: Front Office, Housekeeping, Recreation, Safety & Security, Food & Beverage, and Facilities.
• The curriculum includes department-focused checklists with weekly focus areas.
• Opportunities to interact with owners, guests, and associates while building operational expertise.
• Participants will be partnered with a dedicated mentor/sponsor.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain work experience throughout a resort.
• Develop and demonstrate leadership, management, and hospitality skills.
• Complete department-focused checklists.
• Interact with owners, guests, and associates.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A valid driver's license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history based on location.

Qualifications

• Must earn a bachelor’s degree by the time the program begins.
• Preferred degree in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management.
• Business and Hospitality minor will also be considered.
• Should be recent graduates within the current semester or up to two years post-graduation.
• Prior hospitality or resort operations experience is preferred.

Compensation & Perks

• Salary: $52,000 annually ($25.00 hourly).
