About the Role

BlueScope North America is seeking skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Packagers on the 1st Shift. This role is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work, have a keen eye for detail, and are eager to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, check, and store materials and products.
• Fill orders and package materials and products to ensure accurate and timely shipping.
• Assemble customer orders from stock based on pick sheets, customer orders, work orders, or requisitions.
• Position materials, including placing orders on pallets or in crates.
• Utilize hand tools to build and band crates.
• Appropriately label and mark packages with identifying information.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other assigned duties.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with forklifts or other mobile equipment (minimal use).
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Familiarity with labeling and marking procedures.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with housekeeping and 5-S practices.

• Keen eye for detail and pride in producing quality work.
