About the Role
This is a full-time, remote role for a Full Stack Engineer at BangDB. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications that integrate with BangDB’s converged data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and optimize front-end interfaces.
- Build robust back-end services and APIs.
- Ensure seamless communication between application layers.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to translate complex data workflows into intuitive, performant features.
- Write clean, testable code.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and continuously improve the overall application architecture.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Full-Stack Development
- Software Development
- Back-End Web Development (including designing APIs, working with databases, managing application logic and performance)
- Front-End Development using modern frameworks.
- Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices:
- Version control (Git)
- Testing frameworks
- CI/CD pipelines
- Containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with data-intensive systems, stream processing, or distributed architectures is beneficial.
- Experience with domains such as fintech, ecommerce, or IoT is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Solid Back-End Web Development skills.
- Front-End Development skills using modern frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
