Barista

About the Role

The Barista at The Dressing Room is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages.
• Prepare and serve light food items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Greet guests and take orders.
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure accurate cash handling or point-of-sale transactions.
• Coordinate with team members to restock supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Support a smooth flow of service during peak hours.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Help create a welcoming environment for all guests.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work on-site in Pune Division.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication.
• Hands-on Barista experience with making espresso-based drinks, brewing coffee, and operating café equipment.
• Basic Food Preparation skills, with an understanding of food safety, hygiene, and handling procedures.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliability.
• Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
