About the Role
Home Chef is seeking a Production Associate for their Day Shift. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking ingredients throughout the assembly process.
- Visually inspecting produce.
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure customer safety.
- Working in a refrigerated environment (34-36F).
- Moving between tasks when needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift less than 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Orientation + Onboarding
- A 2-day orientation is typically held on Wednesday & Thursdays, starting at 7:15 am.
- Active participation and attendance are required for both orientation days.
- A strict 2-week onboarding window requires presence every scheduled work day.
GMP Adherence - Restricted Items
- Piercings or dermals
- Fake nails, nail polish, and/or acrylic nails
- Watches, bracelets, or other jewelry
- Fake eyelashes and/or excessive make-up
- Weapons (including box cutters)
Qualifications
- HS Diploma preferred but not required.
- 6+ months of production/warehouse environment experience preferred.
Work Schedule & Location
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Days Off: Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday.
- Location: 1701 E Patapsco Ave, Baltimore, MD 21226.
Compensation
- Maryland Pay Range: $18.50 USD - $18.50 USD.
