The Volunteer role at KY Department Store is a full-time, remote position supporting the store’s operational and customer-service activities from off-site. This role is designed for individuals who wish to gain experience in retail operations while contributing positively to the customer and staff experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with online customer inquiries.
• Helping coordinate virtual events or campaigns.
• Supporting internal communication between store departments.
• Contributing to organizing digital records.
• Updating basic information about shops and services.
• Providing administrative support to the management team as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational skills, including time management and attention to detail.
• Comfort with basic computer use, online communication tools, and remote collaboration platforms.
• Customer-service mindset with a courteous, helpful, and solution-focused approach.
• Reliability and accountability in meeting full-time remote schedule and assigned tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team.
• Interest in retail, hospitality, or customer experience; prior experience in these areas is an advantage but not required.
