About the Role
Proteck Metalics is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) to join their manufacturing team. This is an opportunity for fresh engineering graduates to gain practical, hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment and develop technical and professional skills across various manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and support day-to-day manufacturing and production activities.
- Understand sheet metal manufacturing processes, including laser cutting, CNC bending, forming, and fabrication.
- Gain exposure to welding processes such as MIG, TIG, spot, and robotic welding.
- Assist in production planning, process improvement, and shop-floor coordination.
- Support quality inspection and ensure products meet engineering drawings and specifications.
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Participate in process improvement, productivity, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Maintain production records and other relevant manufacturing documentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates looking to build a career in manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work as part of a team.
