About the Role
- Part-time, hybrid position
- Based in Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee volunteer scheduling, onboarding, and support.
- Ensure volunteers understand responsibilities and have necessary resources.
- Organize and deliver volunteer training sessions.
- Maintain volunteer records.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for volunteer queries and concerns.
- Collaborate with staff to identify areas for volunteer contribution.
- Support community outreach activities.
- Monitor volunteer engagement and performance.
- Prepare brief activity reports.
- Help improve volunteer processes.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful environment for all volunteers.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to coordinate Volunteer Management activities, including scheduling, onboarding, and performance support.
- Experience in Volunteer Training and developing basic training materials or orientations for new volunteers.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills.
- Background or interest in Community Outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with basic office software and online communication tools.
- Ability to work respectfully within structured environments and follow established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, non-profit work, or community services is preferred but not required.
