About the Role
The GM-Procurement role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangalore Urban. The role involves leading the end-to-end procurement function for construction materials, services, and related contracts to support multiple residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing sourcing strategies.
- Identifying and evaluating suppliers.
- Negotiating pricing and terms.
- Ensuring timely availability of materials in alignment with project schedules and budgets.
- Collaborating closely with project, engineering, finance, and materials management teams to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring vendor performance.
- Managing key procurement risks.
- Driving process improvements.
- Implementing best practices in supply chain and contract management to support business growth.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Procurement and materials management skills.
- Experience in end-to-end purchasing processes for construction or real estate projects.
- Proficiency in supplier evaluation and supply chain management, including vendor selection, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract management, including drafting, negotiating, and administering vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to develop and implement cost-optimization strategies while ensuring quality and timely availability of materials.
- Experience leading procurement teams, with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Comfort with using ERP or procurement software.
- Comfort with analyzing data to support decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced qualifications or certifications in supply chain or procurement are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior procurement role within real estate, infrastructure, or construction is highly beneficial.
