Key Responsibilities
- Performs testing of modules and systems.
- Assists in the statistical analysis of laboratory or field data and spare parts shipments.
- May present reliability status updates and reports to project teams and management.
- Assists in the design and fabrication of test fixtures and data collection systems.
- Participates in formal design reviews and engineering meetings to drive reliability initiatives.
- Prepares or approves simple product, laboratory, or vendor reliability test plans.
- Performs or requests failure analysis of components under test.
- Develops Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Performs allocation and modeling of modules and components.
- Assists Engineering in the selection of more reliable components and in using reliable design practices.
