About the Role
SkoolAxis.in is seeking an educator for a full-time, on-site position in Hyderabad. The role involves planning and delivering lessons in Primary English, Environmental Studies, and advanced English for higher grades, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Teach classes.
- Assess student work and provide feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with colleagues.
- Participate in staff meetings and school events.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and strong language skills.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with student-centric teaching approaches, including activity-based learning, project work, and interactive classroom techniques.
- Ability to collaborate with school leadership, colleagues, and parents.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and learning platforms.
- Prior experience with LMS or ERP systems in education is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Primary English, Environmental Studies, and English for higher grades.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different age groups.
- Ability to explain concepts in a clear, age-appropriate manner.
- Ability to contribute to school initiatives and co-curricular activities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- A B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in primary and/or secondary school settings, ideally in English and Environmental Studies.
