About the Role
OliVeesu is seeking a part-time online French Trainer to teach students and working professionals. You will cover levels from beginner (A1) through intermediate, utilizing Malayalam for explanations of grammar, pronunciation, and concepts where necessary. The role also involves preparing learners for DELF/DALF exams and practical communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online French classes (3 sessions per week, 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM IST).
- Use Malayalam to explain difficult concepts for beginners.
- Prepare lesson plans, practice material, assignments, and mock tests.
- Track learner progress and provide regular feedback.
- Prepare students for DELF/DALF or other certification exams.
- Facilitate spoken French practice and conversation activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Fluent in French and Malayalam (spoken and written).
- Working English is a plus.
- DELF B2 / DALF C1 or higher, or a degree/diploma in French (e.g., BA/MA French, Alliance Française certification).
- Clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.
- Patient, student-friendly teaching approach.
- Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar tools.
- Stable internet connection, a laptop/PC, and a quiet space for early-morning classes.
- Availability for the 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM IST slot on class days.
Good to have
- Prior experience as a French trainer or tutor.
- Teaching certification such as DAEFLE or FLE.
- Experience with job-oriented French for migration or corporate needs.
