About the Role
The Article Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Support audit assignments (statutory, tax, internal audits) including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
- Work on GST registrations, return preparation, and compliance activities.
- Contribute to income tax advisory, computation, and filing.
- Assist with company incorporation and ROC filings.
- Prepare working papers for internal controls, SOP implementation, and business consulting engagements.
- Collaborate with senior team members.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to professional standards.
- Continuously develop technical and professional skills through on-the-job learning.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfort working with accounting or ERP software and online compliance portals.
Qualifications
- Enrolled as an article trainee or eligible to register under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and auditing principles.
- Knowledge of taxation and compliance, including GST concepts, income tax provisions, and familiarity with Companies Act requirements.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and follow professional standards.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to diverse assignments.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, accounting, or taxation is an advantage but not mandatory.
