Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer who is passionate about interior design, furniture, materials and space planning. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, have a good design sense and be interested in developing innovative furniture concepts and interior solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts, furniture layouts and design proposals.
- Create 2D layouts and 3D visualisations and SketchUp for furniture and interior projects.
- Assist in furniture design, material selection, colour combinations and finishes.
- Prepare mood boards, presentations and design references.
- Research current trends in furniture, interior design, materials and finishes.
- Coordinate with the team regarding design requirements, measurements and project updates.
- Assist in preparing drawings, specifications and basic project documentation.
- Work on customised furniture concepts based on client requirements and reference images.
- Support the team in ensuring that designs are practical, functional and visually appealing.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience; freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop or other relevant design software.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of furniture, materials, colours, textures and finishes.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage assigned tasks responsibly.
