Job Overview

SVAGS is looking for enthusiastic and motivated freshers to join our engineering team as Associate Software Engineers. You will work alongside experienced team members to develop, test, and maintain software applications while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies and real-world projects. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong programming fundamentals, a passion for technology, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, readable, and maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and web application features.
• Work with databases to write queries and manage application data.
• Identify, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to deliver project requirements.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and version control processes.
• Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably C# or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work in a team environment.

Preferred Technical Skills: Knowledge of any of the following is an advantage:

• C#
• Angular and TypeScript
• RESTful APIs
• SQL Server
• Git and GitHub

Note: Candidates are not expected to know every technology. Freshers with good fundamentals and a strong learning attitude are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• B.Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA, or equivalent qualifications.
• Freshers and candidates with up to one year of relevant experience.
