Role Description

As a Content Writing Intern at Shades of Udaipur, you will support the creation of written content for campaigns, events, social media, websites, and internal communications. You will research topics related to clients and projects, draft and refine copy, and help develop creative concepts aligned with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and event teams to ensure messaging is consistent and engaging across mediums. You will assist in proofreading, basic editing, and maintaining content calendars, while participating in brainstorms and planning sessions. This is an internship role, based on-site in Udaipur, offering hands-on exposure to the creative and communications industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation of written content for campaigns, events, social media, websites, and internal communications.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce clear, engaging written content for various formats (social media posts, blogs, marketing copy, event collateral).
• Strong research skills and the ability to translate insights into concise, audience-focused messaging.
• Attention to detail with basic proofreading and editing abilities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Interest in branding, communications, and digital media, with a willingness to learn content and campaign strategies.
• Good command of English, solid grammar, and the ability to adapt tone and style to different brands.
• Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and comfort working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content tools (e.g., Google Docs, MS Office).
• Exposure to design or marketing tools is a plus.
